GeauxTrax is the channel that tucks your Govee Permanent Outdoor Pro pucks and wires out of sight along your fascia. Measure, mount, snap the cover on — your roofline reads clean by day and lit by night.
Walk your eaves with a tape measure. Round up to the next kit size. We'll ship everything you need — extra corners included.
Run the 4-foot base tracks along your fascia. A cordless drill and a stepladder are the only tools required.
Snap light holders into the base and insert your pucks. All wiring hides inside the channel for a factory-finished look.
Click the 16" cover tracks over the top. Handle corners, end caps, spacers. Light it up the same evening.
Every kit includes everything you need: base tracks, covers, corners, end caps, and light holders. Extra corners are included in every kit so you don't get caught short.
For bungalows, cottages, and single-story homes.
Most two-story homes with a standard roofline.
Larger homes, complex rooflines, or detached garages.
Need a few extras for a tricky section, gable, or porch? Pair these with a main kit.

GeauxTrax is a modular system. Straight runs, corners, cut-to-length sections, end caps, and light holders that all snap into the same 4-foot base track. Mix and match for peaks, valleys, gables, and porches.

Permanent outdoor lighting installers typically add $500–$2,000 in labor on top of the Govee Permanent Outdoor Pro hardware itself. GeauxTrax is the DIY permanent outdoor light track designed to be installed in one weekend with tools you already own — so the savings stay in your pocket and the finished look stays on your house year-round.

labor — one weekend, one cordless drill
Early GeauxTrax customers put the track up themselves — most in a single weekend. Here's what they told us afterward.
“Beautiful lights with unlimited color scenes. The install was quick and painless! The tracks cover all wires, which is what we wanted. We love the professional look & the job was very affordable.”

GeauxTrax is a purpose-built Govee Permanent Outdoor Pro mounting system — PETG channel engineered around the exact puck spacing, wire gauge, and connector profile of the Govee Pro line. One light. One track. A permanent outdoor lighting install that hides every puck and wire flush to your fascia.
Looking for a way to hide Govee Permanent Outdoor Pro wires, mount the pucks cleanly, or DIY a permanent outdoor light track without hiring an installer? That's exactly what GeauxTrax is built for. Tell us about your roofline and we'll confirm the right kit for your home. Running a different brand? GeauxTrax is Govee Pro-only today, but we're listening.
Nope. If you can work a cordless drill and stand on a stepladder, you can install GeauxTrax. The whole system is screw-down base → snap-on cover, with cut-to-length pieces included for finishing. Most homeowners finish a 150' home in a Saturday.
PETG is a tough, UV-stabilized plastic — the same family used for medical devices and outdoor signage. It won't yellow, warp, or get brittle the way PVC does. Expected service life is 10–15 years outdoors in direct sun.
No — GeauxTrax is the track system only. It's built specifically for Govee Permanent Outdoor Pro pucks and wire, which you buy separately from Govee. We stay focused on making the best possible channel for that one light; Govee handles the LEDs and the app.
Not today. The channel dimensions, puck spacing, and wire routing are all tuned to the Govee Permanent Outdoor Pro system. Other brands use different puck shapes and cable gauges that won't seat correctly. If you're on another system, reach out — we're tracking demand.
Round up. Every kit includes 4 long corners (2 with lights, 2 without), extra cut-to-length pieces, and end caps — so there's room for real-world fudge. If you're way off, individual pieces ship next-day.
You screw the 4' base tracks directly into your fascia board with exterior-grade screws (not included — use what your fascia takes). The cover and corner pieces snap on over the top and the wire hides underneath.
Yes. Snap covers come off without tools, so you can access wiring, swap a bad puck, or pull it all down if you're replacing your roof. Then re-snap when done.
GeauxTrax ships in two standard colors: clean matte white and matte black. Pick whichever blends into your fascia, soffit, or trim. Both are paintable with exterior latex if you want a specific match.
We can run custom colors for an added cost — great for HOAs or homes with a non-standard trim color. Email sales@geauxtrax.com with the color you're after (a paint code or photo is perfect) and we'll come back with pricing and lead time.
Kits ship from the USA. Transit time depends on your location — typically 3–6 business days via ground freight once your order leaves our warehouse.
USA only for now. We ship to all 50 states, but we don't have international shipping set up yet. If you're outside the US, email sales@geauxtrax.com — we're tracking demand.
Yes. PETG stays flexible and impact-resistant down to well below freezing — it won't crack or become brittle in cold climates the way some plastics do. The track is engineered to handle the same outdoor conditions as the Govee Pro lights themselves.
PETG is UV-stabilized and weather-resistant — it won't yellow, warp, or degrade in direct sun, rain, or heat. We expect 10–15 years of outdoor service life under normal conditions.
GeauxTrax mounts to your fascia board, not to wall surfaces — so stucco, brick, and siding don't come into play for most installations. If your home doesn't have a standard wood fascia, email sales@geauxtrax.com and describe your situation.
Yes. The 200' Large Home Kit is sized for larger two-story homes. You'll need a taller ladder for upper rooflines — factor that into your tool prep before you start.
Cordless drill, stepladder, tape measure, and a utility knife. A miter saw is strongly recommended for clean angled cuts at corners. That's it.
Yes — both matte white and matte black are paintable with standard exterior latex paint. Lightly scuff the surface first and use a paint rated for plastics for best adhesion.
The Pro uses a different puck design, wire gauge, and connector system than the Lite. GeauxTrax is engineered around Govee Pro specs only — the Lite won't seat correctly in the track. Double-check you have the Pro version before ordering.
Email sales@geauxtrax.com within 30 days of delivery if there's an issue with your order. Unused kits in original condition are eligible for return; we'll work through the details with you directly.
GeauxTrax backs the track components against defects in materials and workmanship. Email sales@geauxtrax.com with photos and your order info and we'll make it right.
Tell us your linear footage and we'll confirm the right kit, get you a shipping quote, and have your order on the way within two business days.
